Proud2BBQ, 22nd August 2026
Here at Proud2Be we like to celebrate summer with style. Our Proud2BBQ event saw local families, adults and young people come together for a celebration of queer creativity and good food.
We had a delicious BBQ with meat and plant based options and a popular smoothie bar.
People could glam up at our face painting and clothes customising and facepainting station. Or they could learn a new skill doing blackout poetry in our quiet room or green woodworking with Firebug outside on the patio.
Special Guest Winnie Hoe worked the crowd and provided music and games for the whole family.

Proud2Be at Stover Country Park, 17th January 2026
Proud2Be was hosted by Stover Country Park as part of the Restoring Stover Park Project. The ‘Restoring Stover Park’ project has been made possible with funding from The Heritage Lottery Fund.
We were joined by over 50 adults, families, and young people from South Devon and beyond who took part in a day of activities including nature inspired crafts, walking the nature trail and campfire cooking.
