Devon and Cornwall

  1. Pride in Plymouth works to bring people and groups together to celebrate and promote the diversity which exists within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans communities in Plymouth.

  2. Intercom Trust, lesbian gay bisexual and transgender community resources in Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset.

  3. The Eddystone Trust is the HIV and Sexual Health Services in South West England. Details about their free and confidential Rapid Result HIV Testing in Plymouth can be found HERE.

  4. Rainbow Families South West is an informal social group for Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender parents and their children in Devon and Cornwall.

  5. A safe space in Devon for confidential & professional counselling for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual & transgender people, their family and friends and those questioning their gender or sexual orientation.

  7. Age UK Devon is a local, independent charity, supporting and empowering older people in the county. They celebrate diversity and positively welcome enquiries from LGBT people. Please call 0845 296 7810 or email ask for Sarah Gunn.

  8. Non-Binary South West is a new support group for people based in the South West of England who identify beyond binary gender.

  9. TQ Social Group is a Totnes-based social group for gay and bisexual men to socialise, chat over a drink and to make new friends. Meets at 11am in a local venue on the second Sunday of every month.

  10. A group in Torbay to help trans people come to terms with their gender and provide a meeting place where they can feel safe and start to feel more at peace with themselves. The group is open to trans youth, parents of trans children and trans children.

  11. Number 3 is a not for profit group working for the LGBT community in the South West, primarily Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. We aim to give support to LGBT people in rural locations, where they have no other means of attaining social activities and gaining friendship.

  12. Devon PALS is a walking group for lesbians. The walks are held on the 3rd Sunday of every month. We also have other events such as bike rides, boat trips, going to concerts etc. but these are on an adhoc basis. If you would like more details please contact us at

  13. Women on Wednesdays (WoW) is a lesbian Social Group in Exeter. We meet at the City Gate Hotel Bar, Exeter on the first and third Wednesday in the month from 8pm. Keep up to date with the the latest information and events by joining our closed group on facebook.

  15. Rainbowbridge is an informal and friendly group for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people affected by mental health issues. Rainbowbridge meet on the first Saturday of the month 12.30-2.30pm at the Bridge Collective, Exeter.

  16. Safe Harbour is a Christian Church which believes all are welcome and all are loved by God. We began in the LGBT+ community, but reach out to everyone seeking God, however they understand God to be. We are part of the Metropolitan Community Church. Come as you are, you will be very welcome.

  1. Stonewall was founded in 1989 by a small group of women and men who had been active in the struggle against Section 28 of the Local Government Act. Stonewall works to achieve equality and justice for LGBT people.

  2. A community to ReachOUT to those who have had to flee their home countries because of the fear of physical or structural violence and discrimination directed towards them because of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

  3. LGBT Consortium is a national membership organisation focusing on the development and support of LGB&T groups, projects and organisations; so they can deliver direct services and campaign for individual rights.

  4. Bisexuals of Colour are a welcoming supportive group for bisexuals who identify as Black Minority Ethnic or Mixed Heritage.

  6. NAZ provides sexual health promotion and HIV support services to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities in London. We specialise in providing culturally appropriate services and a supportive environment enabling people to access healthcare.

  7. AKT supports young LGBT 16-25 year olds who are made homeless or living in a hostile environment.

  8. FFLAG is a national voluntary organisation and registered charity dedicated to supporting parents and their lesbian, gay and bisexual daughters and sons.

  9. Space offers groups for LGBT+ young people, one-to-ones, advice, support, workshops, assemblies and much more.

  10. The Hampshire LGBT+ Alliance is an alliance of Hampshire-based LBGT+ Networks that have pledged to work together.

    The aim of the Alliance is to celebrate and support LGBT+ employees and communities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The Alliance also organise Hampshire Pride and other local LGBT+ events.


  1. The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth.

  2. Trans Unite allows members of the transgender & non-binary communities to find a support group local to them.
