– Proud2Be founders Max and Maya Price spoke at the first ever TEDXTotnes event. Their talk ‘How Shame Made Us Proud2Be’ was released and chosen by TedX to be promoted to their 3 million YouTube subscribers.

2014

– Facilitated 12 social groups in South Devon, with an average of 26 people attending each month
– Hosted Totnes Pride 2014 with the first ever Pride procession in Totnes, attended by approximately 1200 people
– Installed the first temporary rainbow pedestrian crossing in Totnes, during the week of Totnes Pride 2014, to celebrate diversity and raise awareness about the issues still faced by the LGBT+ community. The crossing was funded by a successful crowd funding campaign
– Teamed up with local trans organisation Transfigurations to host Trans Day of Remembrance event in South Devon
– Held 2 LGBT+ Youth Focus Groups in Totnes
– Facilitated 4 activity days in Totnes, South Devon
