A Friendly and Sober Social for LGBTQIA+ People and Our Allies

Looking for a friendly and sober space to meet others? Join us at our social where we catch up, play games, do crafts and have fun!

There’s no pressure to participate and the group is a good mix of old and new faces so if it’s your first time you won’t be alone!

The group is open to LGBTQIA+ people* and our allies (16+). Children and young people are welcome to attend if accompanied by a parent/carer/guardian.

*our space is for all LGBTQIA+ people, including those outside the acronym! If you’re wondering if you’re LGBTQIA+ enough to come along – you are, and we’d love to see you.

The group runs on the 4th Saturday of each month in Central Newton Abbot

Venue: The Station Community Centre, Wain Ln, Newton Abbot TQ12 2SH

The venue is situated behind Newton Abbot Leisure Centre. Enter the entrance to the leisure centre, then turn immediately left and follow the building around until you see the sign for ‘The Station’. Parking is free and there should be plenty of spaces.

Time: 1 pm – 4 pm

Admission: Free to attend

Venue accessibility: step-free access, off-street parking, kitchen facilities, accessible toilet

COVID Precautions: We encourage mask-wearing and social distancing, especially in our smaller venues. Hand gel and masks are provided.
