Announcing our free counselling service for LGBTQIA+ adults in South Devon 🌈Counselling can provide a space for you to begin to unpick and understand parts of yourself and your life, as well as helping you process trauma that may currently feel unclear, painful or unfinished. You may want to access our counselling services to talk about your LGBTQIA+ identity, relationships, bereavement, mental health or trauma. Our counselling services are:❤️ Free🧡 Up to 12 sessions per person💛 At our hubs in Newton Abbot or Paignton (or small number of online places available)💚 18+ only💙 Limited places💜 Not open to current attendees of Proud2Be groups or events in South Devon during this pilot stage of the service, as our volunteer counsellor works for Proud2Be in another roleInterested in accessing our counselling service? Where can you go if there's no place to, yknow.. go? 🚽♿Today is Changing Places Awareness Day!Did you know that standard accessible toilets aren't suitable for a lot of disabled people?Changing Places toilets provide hoists, changing benches, extra space for transfers or assistants, and more - everything required to meet disabled people's needs with safety and dignity 🦼No safe or accessible loos leads to social exclusion - an issue that sadly many LGBTQIA+ folk sadly are familiar with.
