Proud2Be offers interactive workshops and Q&A sessions for young people. The workshops are tailored to suit the needs of the young people you work with. Our sessions are suitable for key stages 1-5.
Why Proud2Be?
- All of our trainers are professional, qualified facilitators and youth workers who are LGBTQ+
- Our workshops are developed in collaboration with LGBTQ+ young people, enabling them to use their first-hand experiences to increase understanding
- All profits made from our workshops are reinvested into our outreach work, enabling us to support even more LGBTQ+ young people and respond more quickly to community need
- We have over ten years of experience delivering workshops at mainstream and special schools, colleges, youth groups & pupil referral units in Devon and beyond

Over the last year, I have been growing more confident in myself and who I am. When you
came in today and you showed me how happy you are being you…I just can’t describe how
happy I suddenly felt too!

I really thought Proud2Be were wonderful – the students definitely got a lot out of the
sessions. They were great with the students and really drew some serious thought and
debate out of them.

Working with Proud2Be has been invaluable to our students. They discuss important and
potentially sensitive issues with an excellent balance of professionalism and approachability.
The students have thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the sessions that they have had.

positive and staff who worked with the students on the day said that the workshops provided
the stimulus for some highly thought-provoking and pertinent discussions.

Rave reviews from the young people and from the conversations I have had, the work was
useful and clarified or changed some attitudes. THANK YOU for your amazing workshop.
